Roster connects to the tools you already run payroll and sales through. Everything here is set up once in Settings, Venue, Integrations.
Payroll
Roster handles everything up to the pay run. Approved timesheets go to payroll; payroll applies rates, penalties, tax and super.
Xero (AU venues): the deepest connection. Your team and pay rates come in from Xero, approved timesheets and approved leave go back out as drafts for your bookkeeper to sign off, weekend and public-holiday hours land on the matching pay items, and hours can carry a cost centre per venue and area. See the Xero integration and the pay-run runbook.
MYOB (AU venues): pair your team once, pick a default wage category, and approved timesheets go straight onto MYOB timesheets for the pay run. Team import, leave sync, weekend pay items and cost-centre tracking are Xero-only for now.
Employment Hero and QuickBooks Payroll (AU venues): Australian QuickBooks Payroll runs on the Employment Hero engine, so one connection covers both. Paste your Payroll API key once, pair your team, and approved timesheets land in payroll as approved lines ready for the pay run. Hours only - employees, pay rates and leave stay in payroll. See Employment Hero / QuickBooks Payroll for the setup, including where the key hides.
Any other payroll system, anywhere: export approved timesheets to CSV or Excel and hand them to your bookkeeper or payroll provider.
Sales
Square: connect your POS and Roster pulls hourly sales to power labour-vs-sales insights, demand forecasts and the year-on-year sales line on the schedule. You choose which Square location feeds the venue, and can backfill up to a year of history.
Cloudbeds (hotels): connect your property with an API key and Roster pulls room revenue by night - past nights as actuals, future nights as bookings on the books - so you can staff to occupancy.
Both are read-only. Nothing is written back to your POS or booking system.
Lightspeed, Toast, Clover, Impos and Bepoz are coming soon.
Calendars
Workers add their shifts to their own calendar from the Shifts page: a subscription link for Apple Calendar, Google Calendar or Outlook that updates as the roster changes. Nothing for you to set up.
Shift cover
Supp marketplace (AU): link your Supp business once, then when a scheduled shift goes unfilled, push it straight to Supp and a vetted hospitality casual can pick it up.
